Abstract

In response to the impetus in higher education to find innovative ways to provide more services at less cost, libraries are attempting to redefine core collections and at the same time provide users with a greater breadth of information. This article documents the process of an academic library, which through a pilot project implemented a table of contents/document delivery service to supply articles on demand instead of adding new journal subscriptions to the collection. doi:10.1300/J105v31n03_02 © Copyright (c) by The Haworth Press, Inc.
