Abstract

As part of our participation in the development of evaluation tools for GALE systems, we developed the “Exploration and Discovery Information Evaluation” (EDIE) framework to assist with the development of the Rosetta system and its components . Along with the series of experiments testing the Rosetta system, we also developed associated evaluation me-thodologies and metrics, which make EDIE a complete framework for user-centered utility evaluation.
