Abstract
Hemodynamic monitoring is an essential tool for evaluation and management of patients with acute kidney injury (AKI). Hemodynamic support includes identification of preload-response, volume resuscitation, vasopressor, and inotropic management. An evidence-based management strategy with the goal of increasing tissue oxygen delivery can improve outcome in AKI. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2010.
