A case of a child, who used the pacifier with an uncommon habit is presented. She pulled out the hair on the right side of her head after rolling it round the base of the pacifier. She then sucked it and swallowed it. Based on this report the authors are emphasizing the importance of accompanying the orofacial develooment of the child as from its first year of life.
