Abstract
This lecture presented during Open Access Week 2015, jointly sponsored by the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries and the University Library System, University of Pittsburgh on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 5:00 - 6:00pm in 100 Port Hall, Carnegie Mellon University. Data is the driving force for new discovery & innovation. Lack of a healthy ecosystem for data stewardship, preservation & use puts critical data at risk. Creating a viable ecosystem to help advance discovery & research.
