Abstract

This presentation addresses the fact that science publication needs to maintain a balance for quality control and timely dissemination of scientific findings. Timely publication does not necessarily need to be at the expense of quality, and the "_F1000Research_" model can help meet both the speed and quality aspects of scientific publishing.
