Relationship Styles Questionnaire (RSQ) - Personality StudiesPilkonis, Paul (2019) Relationship Styles Questionnaire (RSQ) - Personality Studies. [Dataset] (Unpublished)
AbstractThis submission contains data and codebooks from several personality studies conducted 1990-2017, organized by assessment instrument. For demographic information about the study participants, please refer to Background Information Questionnaire (BIQ) - Personality Studies (http://d-scholarship.pitt.edu/id/eprint/35424). Studies: 1. Screening for Personality Disorders ("Screening") Description: The RSQ has descriptions of seven different relationship styles: dependent, borderline, caregiver, obsessive compulsive, defensive separation, antisocial, and security. The participant is asked to rate themselves on each description from 0=not at all to 4 = To a marked extent. Then, they are asked to rank each description from “most like you” to “least like you”. At intake, a significant other also rates and ranks the relationship styles as related to what they feel best describes the participant (e.g.: “S/he tends to depend too much on other people”). The RSQ used in the study is a modified version of the 4-category Relationships Questionnaire by Bartholomew & Horowitz (1991). Data Notes: N/A Reliability: Citations: Bartholomew, K., & Horowitz, L.
