Abstract
Obesity and climate change are two concepts of public health importance that are explored and discussed in this paper. In the limited time, these two concepts have been explored in the literature. Obesity leads to significant adverse health outcomes and has been shown to affect the economy. Climate change, further escalated by the industrial revolution, has the potential to lead to dire circumstances. In projections, obesity rates and the effects of climate change are projected to increase over the next 50 years. The primary aim of this paper is to discuss the implications of obesity, climate change, and the interaction between them while advocating for initiatives that could curb the growing rates.
