Primary Care Colorectal Cancer Preventative Screening Project.

Abstract
Primary Care Health Services (PCHS) increase primary care access for low-income, underinsured, and uninsured areas in Pittsburgh. An interprofessional-led screening project was conducted among all PCHS sites to raise awareness of affordable preventive screening for colorectal cancer. Colorectal cancer is extremely preventable if it is caught early, proving the necessity of screenings. Reported outcomes will include the number of patients due for screening/contacted and percent that followed up/received screening or have an appointment scheduled. Screening types and barriers to getting screened also will be reported. An incentive was available to celebrate individuals who completed their screening.
