Abstract

University partnerships with public schools are an innovative opportunity to marry research and practice. The Heinz Fellows Program at the Center for Urban Education existed at the intersection of progress through partnership, with high community support. While over, the Heinz Fellows Program offers salient lessons about the role of collaboration in expanding narratives in pursuit of community engaged scholarship.
