Innovation within Highmark Inc.’s Medicaid Business Unit.

Abstract
Highmark Inc. is a health plan that offers health insurance to approximately seven million members in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York, and West Virginia. The Medicaid Business Unit has launched a business-wide initiative to focus efforts on innovation. The Innovation Team was created to foster cross-functional collaboration by guiding the development and implementation of new pursuits. The projects within this portfolio will discuss the Innovation Team’s aim to advance internal operational efficiencies and enhance the member and provider experience.
