Abstract

This paper will examine the pattern of unemployment and the main characteristics of those unemployed in MENA. Then it will discuss the factors behind high unemployment rates in the region, before focusing on Egypt and Morocco to provide in depth understanding of the determinants of unemployment in two countries of the region
