Abstract

This lecture relates efforts by the Pennsylvania Academic Library Consortium's (PALCI) Cooperative Collection Development Task Force to create a shared e-book collection among the PALCI membership. The presentation focuses on the task force's examination of various e-book delivery platforms and its efforts to develop workable pricing and selection models for a consortium that consists of widely disparate types of academic libraries with greatly differing collection needs.
