Abstract

Sometimes the crisis is one the one we make for ourselves. This talk will cover an ongoing crisis of time management that is being exacerbated by the “new normal:” working from home, loss of contact with colleagues, uncertainty about the future. Is COVID 19 making me take on projects that I shouldn’t and accept deadlines that I know are too soon? In a normal world, would I have told a faculty member on Wednesday that I could make a tutorial about market research by Monday? Would she have even asked for that quick of a turn around? In the context of this, I will discuss the psychology of time management in the era of COVID 19 and the daily crises that can come about because of the “new normal."
