Abstract

Open educational resources (OERs) and open textbooks were the focus of the July 2014 talk. The presentation explained the use and importance of OER and open textbooks and demonstrated some of the resources freely available on the Internet. An accompanying handout provided information on the history of and legislation addressing OER, as well as a list of additional OER projects.
