Abstract

This report examines the progress Allegheny County has made in implementing the 2016 recommendations of the Institute of Politics Criminal Justice Task Force. This report examines innovation solutions implemented in Allegheny County by the County Executive, Public Defender, District Attorney, and Courts. Additionally, the report focuses on the recent commitments from national and local foundations to advance criminal justice reform in Allegheny County.
