Abstract
HealthyCHILD is a partnership among the University of Pittsburgh and multiple community early childhood programs that aims to help teachers develop skills to address child behaviors in the classroom that often result from trauma, mental health challenges, and racial discrimination. HealthyCHILD partnerships exude trust, reciprocity and mutual benefit because we share common goals including, supporting the mental health and well-being of teachers, children and families, and attacking the school-to-prison pipeline where it starts.
