Abstract

Creating and maintaining a knowledge base of policies, procedures, and answers to frequently asked questions can propel good service into great regardless of how the question comes in (f-f, email, chat). As academic reference desks shift to place the onus of public service interactions on to non-librarians, adhering to RUSA Guidelines is still possible with the creation of a knowledge-base of robust content.
